We had an unexpected death in the family, needing accommodations quickly. Jacquie greeted us with kindness, respect, and patience to help meet our needs. She shared light hearted humor that helped to ease our hearts. We were grateful for all that she did for us that day.
It's in a great location. The rooms are very clean and larger than you normally see in 2star hotels. Beds are comfortable and the furniture is well kept. Easy access to outlets/charging. Breakfast was sparse, but the coffee was good. I checked in after the office closed, but the process was still easy. This hotel is dog friendly, but there is a $50 per pet charge. The location is so ideal I didn't even complain. Two gas stations, a Dunkin, and a McDonald's are within walking distance.
Nice place. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was great. clean. Right on the main drag and yet, quiet. Lancaster is a cute town.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. The front desk staff and employees were all very friendly and helpful. Parts of a hotel could use a little updating but overall it was better than what I was expecting given some other reviews. The room was a good size, including a desk and separate table with chairs. Room decor snd cleanliness was very nice, no issues. The continental breakfast was ok and included pastries, muffins, and dry cereals. The refrigerator and microwave in the room allowed us to have some extra breakfast items in the morning and we were fine with that. The location was very convenient to the area. This establishment was nice and I would be glad to stay here again when in the area.
My husband and I have been staying at the Coos frequently over the past year or so. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Jackie greets us with a friendly smile. We tell our family and friends to stay there when they are in the area. D&E Bucci
The check in was great. Overall a good stay. The beds are comfortable, we had 2 queen beds. Bathroom was clean except the air vent in the ceiling. The toilet looked like it had been broken and repaired on the bottom. Other than that room was good. It said "free breakfast" so my family ( 2 toddlers 2 adults) expected like well .. breakfast! A bagel or something. All they had was coffee, hostess donuts ( chocolate and powdered) mini muffins, bread for toast and English muffins. I guess I was expecting some eggs or something hot. so if you just eat hostess snacks and coffee I guess you'd get a free breakfast :-).
Stayed here for one night and it was a good spot. Right near the rotary and close to gas stations, restaurants. Room was very clean and spacious. Front desk was helpful and caring to be sure you were settled and needed any recommendations for things nearby. If I do go up North again, I would look into this spot!
Rooms were descent. Was nice to have a couch since I stayed there 3 weeks. If right in town within walking distance of everything. Service. They have two employees. One was great and helpful. The other was not so much. Continental breakfast is slim pickings: mini muffins, cereal, mini donuts, and coffee.
